The private rented sector is such an important part of our housing market, providing a solution to the ever-growing housing crisis. As landlords we need to protect ourselves and know the essentials for letting and managing our property. Sweeping legislative changes and continually evolving regulations are making this extremely difficult for the unwary.
The IPOA are pleased to present the Residential Landlord Course.
This course is of particular relevance and benefit to established Landlords, those new to the sector and those considering investing in a buy to let property. Also, of interest to Agents; Property Managers; Housing Associations, Charities, or Local Authorities housing personnel.
The programme will follow the natural progression of a tenancy from beginning to end and will cover all the main areas that we as landlords should know.
On completion, you will have the confidence to know that you are managing your tenants and property in a responsible way in compliance with legislation. You will have a better navigation of the complex legislation and be able to identify and eliminate health and safety risks. You will also know what to do when things go wrong and receive practical guidance and help!
You will further develop your tenancy management skills and understand your rights and responsibilities.
The programme is delivered over 5 alternative Saturdays.
