IPOA submitted its Pre-Budget submission on 22nd of August 2018. Our Key message being Housing is a National Emergency, getting the sector working should be the main focus of the State.  Key Recommendations:

• Exemption from Income Tax for Long Term Lettings
• 100% Mortgage Interest Relief, implemented immediately
• Local Property Tax – ‘user pays’ or allowable as a deductible expense
• Rollover Relief
• Refurbishment Relief
• Pension Provision
