Can I rent out a unit that does not contain a bathroom?

April 2022

Question

I have property that contains 6 self-contained studios and one unit with a designated bathroom adjacent over the hallway for that unit’s sole use.

Can I rent out the unit that does not contain a bathroom?

In response to your query, you are not permitted to rent out the unit that does not a bathroom as the bathroom is not contained within the same habitable area of the unit.
